In addition to hotels, Wyndham manages vacation resorts, rental properties, luxury clubs and time-shares.

The company has just bought Vacation Palm Springs, which manages more than 450 upscale vacation properties, for an undisclosed amount. This is Wyndham’s first acquisition in California.

Founded in 2001, Vacation Palm Springs maintains a wide range of privately owned luxury homes and condos in popular desert-area resort cities, including Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage and La Quinta.

Vacation Palm Springs joins Wyndham Vacation Rentals’ portfolio of more than 25 brands, including ResortQuest, Hoseasons, James Villa Holidays, Landal GreenParks and Novasol. Collectively, Wyndham Vacation Rentals accounts for more than 10 million nights a year booked at the 105,000 rental properties it manages across 33 countries.

Wyndham Worldwide is still a hold.
