AMAZON.COM INC., $195.54, remains a buy. The company’s (Nasdaq symbol AMZN; TSINetwork Rating: Average) (www.amazon.com; Shares o/s: 10.6 billion; Market cap: $2.1 trillion; No dividends paid) Amazon MGM Studios has now gained creative control of the James Bond franchise from the Broccoli family. That’s after the long-running feud between the Broccoli family and Amazon over the James Bond franchise appears to have reached a resolution.
Barbara Broccoli and her stepbrother Michael Wilson, who have long controlled the 007 franchise, agreed to hand over creative control of it to a new joint venture with Amazon MGM Studios. No financial terms were released.
