Those stores offer personal-care products, including soaps and shampoos. The company’s other retail chains include La Senza (lingerie) in Canada and Henri Bendel (jewellery) in the U.S. In its fiscal 2018 second quarter, ended July 29, 2017, L Brands’ sales fell 4.7%, to $2.8 billion from $2.9 billion a year earlier. Overall, same-store sales fell 8.0%. That’s mainly because Victoria’s Secret recently stopped selling swimwear, shoes and some accessories in order to focus on its core offerings of underwear and sleepwear. Earnings in the quarter dropped 31.4%, to $0.48 from $0.70. L Brands is a hold.
