It also sells seeds, fertilizer and other agricultural products through 2,000 retail stores in seven countries. Nutrien continues to pay its investors quarterly dividends of $0.45 U.S. a share; the annual rate of $1.80 U.S. yields a high 4.4%. That payment still looks sustainable. In the first half of 2020, Nutrien generated free cash flow (regular cash flow less capital expenditures) of $1.35 billion U.S. That easily covered its dividend payments of $514 million U.S. Nutrien is a buy.
COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL GROUP INC. $88 (www.colliers.com) is a buy. The company is one of the top three commercial real estate firms in the world. It recently purchased controlling interest in its affiliate in Nashville, Tennessee, for an undisclosed amount. That firm provides project brokerage and project management services to commercial real estate developers. The purchase positions Colliers to better tap Nashville’s fast-growing real estate market. Colliers is a buy.
