Tennant’s sales have rebounded strongly as businesses re-opened following initial COVID-19 shutdowns last year. In the quarter ended June 30, 2020, sales jumped 30.4%, to $279.1 million from $214.0 million a year earlier. Earnings before unusual items gained 22.9%, to $1.18 from $0.96. The company now expects to earn between $3.45 and $3.85 a share; the stock trades at 19.7 times the midpoint of that range.
