Hello. Just wondering if you know of Nevada Geothermal? I believe it’s currently about mid-way through completion of a geothermal power generation plant in Nevada, and has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with Nevada Power Co. Ormat Technologies, which I believe you have written about, is delivering the engineering services. I’ll understand if it’s too small to be on your radar.

Nevada Geothermal Power, $0.49, symbol NGP on Toronto (Shares outstanding: 94.5 million; Market cap: $45.9 million), is a Vancouver-based geothermal energy company. Nevada first sold shares to the public at $0.25, and began trading on Toronto in February 2003. Geothermal power is generated using heat from the earth’s molten interior. Movements of the earth’s crust bring magma (molten rock) nearer to the surface, where it heats reservoirs of water and creates steam. Geothermal energy companies like Nevada then drill into these reservoirs and use the steam and hot water to drive electricity-generating turbines. Nevada Geothermal has three projects in the state of Nevada (Blue Mountain, Pumpernickel and Black Warrior), and one at Crump Geyser in eastern Oregon. Blue Mountain is Nevada Geothermal’s most advanced project. The company has signed a 20-year agreement with utility company NV Energy (symbol NVE on New York). Under the agreement, NV will buy the power generated by Blue Mountain’s 49.5-megawatt “Faulkner 1” geothermal power plant. Ormat Technologies…
