A: Boralex Inc., $49.48, symbol BLX on Toronto (Shares outstanding: 102.6 million; Market cap: $5.2 billion; www.boralex.com), generates power from renewable sources—wind, hydroelectric, geothermal and solar. The company owns and operates 108 power stations in Canada, the U.S. and France. It has a total capacity of 2,055 megawatts. Wind accounts for 88% of Boralex’s generating capacity, followed by hydroelectric (9%), thermal (2%) and solar (1%). It is also developing projects that should add 97 megawatts to its capacity between now and the end of 2023.
