We continue to remind investors that if your portfolio was good for you two months ago, it’s probably good for you now. In our view, a good-for-you portfolio would reflect our Successful Investor 3-prong structure. That means it would hold mostly high-quality stocks, be diversified, and include few if any holdings chosen just because they’re broker/media favourites. If you need to sell some stocks, select those that are least appropriate to your investment goals and temperament. This means you’ll sell your riskiest or least promising holdings, while retaining as much as possible of our top stock picks. To help you with that exercise, we identify two retailers we now see as sells. However, we feel there are still many high-quality stocks that will survive this pandemic and thrive anew.
