However, we see better opportunities than these three activist targets (including box). UBER TECHNOLOGIES INC. $81 is a hold for aggressive investors. The company (New York symbol UBER; Consumer Sector; Shares outstanding: 2.1 billion; Market cap: $180.6 billion; No dividend paid; Takeover Target Rating: Medium; www.uber.com) is a ride-sharing service that was founded in March 2009 in San Francisco. It now offers its services in over 15,000 cities in 70 countries. In the past few years, the company added two other businesses: Uber Eats (food delivery) and Uber Freight (packages). The company went public on May 9, 2019, at $45.00 a share. Uber’s shares are now up 80% since the IPO.
