As part of the deal, the company paid $90 million for an 8.5% stake in Fever-Tree’s parent company. Deals like this will help Molson offset slowing beer sales. In the three months ended December 31, 2024, sales fell 2.0%, to $2.74 billion from $2.79 billion a year earlier. Excluding currency exchange rates, sales decreased 1.9% as lower volumes (down 6.4%) offset higher prices (up 4.5%). Thanks to cost cuts, earnings rose 4.4%, to $268.6 million from $257.4 million.
